How it works

One phone call starts it.

1

You call her

Ideally before the baby arrives. Tell her your due date and what your nights look like. She'll listen. That's how every one of her families started.

2

She comes to you

She meets your family at home, sees the nursery, checks the doors and windows (she takes your alarm seriously), and lays out the plan in plain terms.

3

Night after night

From the day you leave the hospital, 8:30 to 6:30, seven nights a week, for about four months. No rocking, no walking the halls, no sleeping on her chest. A baby who learns to sleep, and parents who learn to keep it that way.

She starts with newborns. By two or three months a baby already has habits, and she would rather build the right ones from the first night home.

Plain pricing

$20 an hour.
$25 for twins.

Ten hours a night, 8:30 pm to 6:30 am, so about $200 a night for one baby and $250 for twins. Seven nights a week until the job is done, about four months for most families. No packages, no subscriptions. You pay for the hours she works.

Call her to talk it through. She'll be straight with you about what your family needs.

"Why are you so reasonable?"

Families ask her that. Night nurses around here charge $35 to $65 an hour, and at those rates most people can only afford three weeks. Three weeks doesn't sleep-train a baby. Her price is set so you can afford to finish. When she leaves, the job is complete.

About her

Old school, and proud of it.

Jennifer has been doing this for 36 years. No app, no email, no texting. Just a phone that rings, a practice built entirely on word of mouth, and a record no one argues with: every baby she has trained sleeps through the night.

She doesn't just handle the nights. She teaches you how to bathe the baby, how to hear the difference between cries, how to hold a schedule that still works when the baby is two. Her families plan dinner around bedtime for years, and thank her for it.

From her families

"Working with Jennifer truly changed our lives. She got our baby sleeping through the night, but what makes her so special goes far beyond sleep. She was there for us every step of the way with so much patience, care, and genuine love for our family. She has become so much more than a sleep trainer — she feels like part of our family now. We are incredibly grateful for her and truly can't recommend her enough."

Questions

The short answers

How do I reach her?

By phone, only: (240) 475-0389. Don't text, she won't see it. If she's with a family overnight, leave a message and she'll call you back.

Where does she work?

In your home, overnight. Potomac, Bethesda, and the greater DMV area.

How old should the baby be?

Newborn. She starts the day you bring the baby home from the hospital, so call while you're still expecting. She doesn't take babies who are already two or three months old.

How long does it take?

About four months. She stays until your baby is reliably sleeping through the night, and leaves you knowing how to keep it that way.

Can a grandparent set this up?

Yes, and they often do. Grandparents call her to arrange help for a daughter or daughter-in-law all the time. She'll meet the whole family.

What if it doesn't work?

It hasn't happened in 36 years. She stays until it does. That's what "every baby, every time" means.

Tonight could be the last hard night.
